DESCRIPTION
LOW MODULE EXPANSION JOINT SEALANT
 
DYMONIC is a high performance, single component, moisture curing, modified polyurethane joint sealant.
 
MAIN APPLICATIONS

Specially developed to seal joints subject to dynamic displacement such as: control and expansion joints, precast panel joints, tilt-up panel joints, curtain wall joints, exterior caulking (windows, doors, panels, etc.) frames, etc).

DYMONIC provides a tenacious adhesion which will not diminish over time. This weather resistant formulation has a balance between adhesion capacity, low modulus and high restoration, making it ideal to withstand adverse conditions such as humidity, displacement, shear stress and deflection.
 
PRECAUTIONS/LIMITATIONS

Not recommended for use in:
 
 
Horizontal joints in floors or slabs
Joints permanently submerged in water
Special architectural finishes without previous tests
Application in confined areas without adequate ventilation
Direct contact with polystyrene
 
CONTAINER

Available in 10.14 oz (.315 L) cartridges, 30 cartridges per case, and in 2-gallon units.

COLORS

White, Cream, Beige, Mahogany Red, Bronze, Aluminum Stone, Black.
 
SPECIFICATIONS/STANDARDS

Supplied in a formulation that meets the requirements of US Federal Specification TT-S-00230C, applicable ASTM tests, and Tremco standards:
TT-S-00230C type II, class A displacement capacity of +25%. ASTM C920, Type S, Grade
NS, class 25, uses NT, M, A and O (granite).

Joint Design
 
 
The thickness of the joint must be at least 4 times the anticipated movement, and not less than ¼”.
Thickness should be ¼” on joints ¼”-½” thick.
Maximum thickness of the joint must be 3/8”
Maximum joint size should be approximately 1-1/4” thick x 3/8” thick in one application.
